The best-selling of our ready to sailaway boats, our Voltaire range is made in the USA by the Duffy Electric Boat Company. Duffy have been the leading electric boat manufacturer in the world for thirty years, with many thousands of their craft in use in the USA and around the globe sold under the Duffy name.

Fully proven technology gives you a reliable and comfortable dayboat. The 18 provides room for up to eight adults, and comes complete with canopy, cushions, navigation lights and bilge pump. Its powerful inboard motor runs from a bank of traction batteries, to give up to 8 hours cruising on one charge. The automatic charger plugs into a 13A or 16A mains supply, and will recharge the batteries overnight.

A fibreglass hull and stainless steel fittings give minimum maintenance and long life. The all-up weight of less than 1 tonne means it can be easily towed by a large car. Internal ballast makes this a stable boat under all conditions. The standard battery pack can be doubled for extra range.
